Session II — July 26 to July 30

Travel back in time this summer to the days of ancient Rome. Boys and girls in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade are invited to investigate the history and culture of this early civilization. Campers will practice writing on wax tablets . . . spar in modified chariot races . . . learn about Roman gods and goddesses . . . design and personalize their own battle helmet, sword, and shield . . . and even create a working model of Mt. Vesuvius. Each day will hold new areas of discovery along with ample time for outdoor fun.

We will continue to monitor CDC recommendations for safe practices. Campers will likely be required to wear masks indoors and keep their seats six feet apart. Outdoors, if they are maintaining social distance, campers will not need masks. Each day, the indoor meeting space will be disinfected and special care will be given to keeping our high-touch areas clean.
