The tenth grade girls hosted a Pride and Prejudice tea party today, during Humane Letters, in honor of Miss Lawlor’s birthday.
Congratulations to Gabriel Ortner for qualifying for the American Invitational Mathematics Exam (AIME). Gabriel finished in the top 5% of all students who took the American Mathematics Competition exam (AMC 12) in November. The Senior girls loved the bridge breaking suspense!
Seniors built bridges out of wood and glue as part of their physics assignment during Project Week. This week, they tested them to find out which bridge was the most efficient in design and strength. The strongest bridges held 30+ pounds.
