Our 8th grade science curriculum includes the study of rocks. This is perfect for our students' work at home. Last week, the 8th grade girls presented their rock observations during a video classroom call. They described what kind of
rocks they had found by color, streak test, grain patterns,
fracturing, acid test (using lemon juice), and some even did the Mohs hardness test.
