Congratulations to our varsity boys’ basketball team on their win against TCS this past Friday! The JV and Varsity girls also played great matches.
This past Saturday TSMV students raised $5,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association at our annual Chili Cook Off! Classes competed for best chili, best theme, and most funds raised. Students chose the charity by general vote. As always, it was a lot of fun!
Our cross country season ended with a great performance at the VISAA State Championship race November 7. Senior Kerstin Fagerstrom, finished 6th out of 242 in the Division 2 girls race. The ninth grade boys’ geometry class used their knowledge of proportion and scaling to create a larger version of a piece of pop art. Each boy enlarged a section of the piece so that it would fit correctly into the whole. Here they are proudly displaying their work!

Last week the seventh-graders took a field trip to the Chesapeake bay. They moved outside of the classroom and got some hands-on experience with marine life in and around this body of water.
