The eighth graders took at tour of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception with a local architect who specializes in church architecture. They also got a chance to play their recorders inside the church.

Some moments of fun from this week’s physics lab. Using stopwatches and sticky notes, the juniors tracked the motion of motorized carts and collected data. From here, groups calculated the velocity of their carts, compared their data, and modeled possible collision scenarios with MATLAB.
