It’s been an exciting week of field trips for the eighth, eleventh, and seventh grades! The eighth graders took at tour of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception with a local architect who specializes in church architecture. They also got a chance to play their recorders inside the church.
Some moments of fun from this week’s physics lab. Using stopwatches and sticky notes, the juniors tracked the motion of motorized carts and collected data. From here, groups calculated the velocity of their carts, compared their data, and modeled possible collision scenarios with MATLAB.
Sharing some clips from last night’s 25th anniversary concert. From extraordinary piano performances by Anna Bray and Lily Spence, the moving premiere of Tim Dusenbury’s Requiem for a Warrior, to the hymn of praise sung by a full house, it was a night to remember. Thank you to all the donors, parents, students, faculty, and […]
It is a joy have friends from Trinity School at Greenlawn and Trinity School at River Ridge around campus! All three choirs rehearsed together for the first time last night and then enjoyed a group dinner in the Meadow View classrooms. There was laughter, card games, and an impromptu soccer game on the green as […]

The question that comes to my mind when approaching any Requiem setting is, “why?” Although its origins lie in the Catholic celebration for the repose of the soul, the prayers of the Requiem have inspired the most powerful and personal musical expressions of composers throughout the centuries. As a work originally intended for the Church, […]
A brand new Trinity School bus was delivered this morning, and we are jumping for joy! Mrs. Gonzalez and Mr. Clancy received the keys and gave the bus a thorough inspection. A fourth bus will arrive in the spring semester. Thank you again to all the generous donors who made this dream possible.
At Trinity School, more than half the student body is in an extra-curricular musical group of some kind. Jazz Band and Eclectica met today during lunch for a little fun. Choirs met after school for the first practice of the semester. Looking forward to another beautiful year of music!
