Take a peek at what our seniors are doing in art while they're at home!
Long-term, (the seniors) are working on figure drawings from masters such as Raphael, Michelangelo, Da Vinci, and Bouguereau. This past week, they took a break from their overarching project to draw one of their own hands from life. The purpose here is twofold–to help them draw the hands on their figure drawing better, and to highlight the difference between drawing from life and drawing from a photograph. Drawing from life is more difficult, and a good exercise in seeing as an artist sees.
