The Trinity swim team had a great time at the VISAA Swimming and Diving State Championship Meet. The meet was held in Christianburg, VA at Virginia Tech’s pool, February 15-16. It was an incredibly fast meet, and our swimmers showed up!

Four out of our five relay teams made it to the finals, and many of our swimmers swam lifetime bests. Out of 36 teams in Division II, Tempest girls finished 10th, and the Tempest boys finished 11th. Aine Maloney was the highest scoring Tempest swimmer with four finishes in the top 16 in two individual events and two team relays.

Let’s go Tempest! Huge thanks to Seton head coach, Jim Koehr, who brought decades of expertise and enthusiasm to help us get our swim program off the ground this winter.
