THE 2024 Division II 4×400 STATE CHAMPS! The TSMV girls 4×400 team came in first place at the VISAA Track and Field State Championships yesterday, with a time of 4:17:44. This team ran an incredible race, including an anchor leg split of 59.75 seconds by Francesca Bayer, the fastest split time of any runner in the race.

“These kids are the definition of resiliency. This team overcame so many obstacles while dealing with injuries, but they were unwavering. Their faith in God and dedication to the team brought them to this moment. They rose to the occasion and earned every ounce of their success, and I couldn’t be prouder” says Coach Patrick Ferguson.

It was a great day for the Trinity track and field team. Christina Salinetti, Angelina Garcia, Charlotte Wolfe, and Francesca Bayer placed 3rd in the 4×800 relay, junior Lily Spence placed 3rd in the 400 meter dash, and junior Francesca Bayer placed 3rd in the 800 meter run. Let’s go Tempest!!!!
